The prestigious 8-ball championships is rated alongside the All Ireland 9-Ball Pool Championships, as the most two prestigious and high profile events on Ireland’s American 8 & 9 Ball Pool Tour, with the outright winner writing themselves into the history books on Ireland’s Hall of Fame, going alongside some of the great players who have already been inducted: Kevin Smith (England), John Wims (Kildare), Pat Holtz (Scotland), Daryl Peach (England) and the 2006 All Ireland 9-Ball Pool Champion Sam Gibson (Antrim). Not only will the outright winner be inducted into the Hall of Fame they will also receive a cheque for a substantial amount of prize money and the beautiful crystal trophy for their efforts.

Entries are already being accepted from players throughout the 32 counties of Ireland and the organisers would like to see more new players coming forward and getting involved in this event, which is the biggest American 8-ball tournament in Ireland.

The 8 and 9 ball games are becoming the fastest growing cue-sport games in the world, never mind in this country, with big events taking place all the time in both individual and team, involving Irish players: men, ladies, juniors and wheelchair users who represent this country at the European Championships, Nations Cup and the World Championships.

These All Ireland 8-Ball Championships will be offering double ranking points right down to the last-32 which goes towards selection for the prestigious European and World events which are done on merit from the tour's official rankings.

For all entries and information contact 07776365059 or visit www.irelands9balltour.com Ireland’s American 8 & 9 Ball Pool Tours official website. The event is open to everyone - men, ladies and juniors - but players are also reminded about the tour's dress code for this event.
